When you are ready to move into your new house, be sure to redirect your mails over to the new address. You should be on the lookout for mails from your HOA/Condo Association, Lender and Title Company. Some important mails include:
- Letter about your mortgage payment
- Letter about your HOA or Condo Association
- Loan transfer notification (if your loan is sold by your Lender to a Servicer)
Note: You may be receiving a lot of mails after your closing. Many of these may be solicitations by companies inviting you to obtain a copy of your deed, insurance your mortgage, refinance, etc. Most of these could (and should) be ignored.
Also, remember to change your address. Here is a checklist to help you:

- Banks
- Employer
- School
- Utilities
- Internet Provider
- Phone Company
- Cable Company
- Insurance Companies (e.g., Health, Dental, Vision, Autos, Homeowner’s, etc.)

- Friends and Family
- Alumni Associations
- Voter Registration
