If your primary goal is to stay within a specific school boundary, there is an easy way to search for homes for sale within the school zone that you desired. For example, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) system has 22 high schools, 3 secondary schools, 23 middle schools, and 141 elementary schools organized into 24 Pyramids.
With our search tool, you can easily search by school or group of schools as follow:
- Go to our MLS home search tool.
- Click on Advanced Search.
- At the top left of the Advanced Criteria is a search box that said “Search for a School or District”
- Type in the school name and select the name from the drop-down menu. For example, “West Springfield”
- The search page automatically updates to show all homes for sale in West Springfield High School district.
- To view Active homes only (those are not under contract and are still available for sale), you can click on the Status button and select Active.
