South of Prince William County is Stafford County. Bordered mainly by the Potomac and Rappahannock rivers, Stafford County is a 250-square-mile stretch of the Virginia Commonwealth that has taken virtues from its proud history to form a consortium of strong, tight-knit communities.
Known prominently as George Washington’s boyhood home, Stafford County is also home to approximately 152,882 according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Notable landmarks include the Marine Corps Base Quantico and the National Museum of the Marine Corps located nearby in Triangle.
